Common questions
A scan didn't read the list correctly. What can I do?
Lists with stylish fonts, handwriting, or dim lighting are the hardest to read. Try a straight-on photo with good light and the whole list in frame. If a wine still comes out wrong, let us know which one so we can keep improving.
How does BottleWise know my taste?
A short flavor quiz when you start sets up your taste profile, and it gets sharper as you save the wines you love and come back to them.
What's included for free, and what needs a subscription?
You can scan and get personalized picks for free up to a monthly limit. A subscription unlocks unlimited scans and food pairing.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and you can change or cancel BottleWise there.
Can I reset my taste profile?
Yes. You can clear your saved wines and reset your profile from within the app's settings, and start the flavor quiz again whenever you like.
How is my data handled?
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app, and we don't sell your information. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
